Eileen Greenhalgh of Kelvedon URC described the impact that the boys have on worship in their congregation. "When Ethan and Jasper lead the music in church, the whole atmosphere is alive - everyone sings more enthusiastically and probably more loudly.

Outside the church they have used their considerable talents to raise money for charity, notably the Norrie Disease Foundation  (Ethan has Norrie disease and is blind with reduced hearing).

We at Kelvedon URC are very fortunate to enjoy their music at some of our services."

Children's and Youth Development Officer for Eastern Synod, Nicola Grieves, endorsed their nomination, adding, "Jasper and Ethan are members at Kelvedon URC and along with their dad form a worship band that regularly lead worship. They have not been able to play during lockdown and when I went there in June to take a service at the church all expressed how much they missed seeing the boys and their music. Both have attended youth events in the synod and will be leading worship with their family for the new moderators' induction. I highly commend the nomination."

Remember that you too can nominate a child or young person for the Lundie Memorial Award which is given each month to someone under the age of 26 for playing their part in the mission of God.
