Mary and baby JesusA Christmas message from the Revd Clare Downing and Mr Peter Pay, Moderators of the United Reformed Church General Assembly:

2020 has been a challenging year; one in which we’ve experienced the fragility of life in God’s world.

We have lamented and mourned. We have also seen an outpouring of creativity and initiative that speaks powerfully of the work of the Holy Spirit.

Our hope rests in the new life resurrection which emerges out of the darkness of death. That hope is born into the world at Christmas, and we pray for you all as the Church celebrates that hope in this most extraordinary year.

Wishing you every blessing this Christmas time.
