“In the Thick of it” was an event held in May 2019, hosted by the URC at Scargill House in North Yorkshire, inviting people from across Britain to share encouragement and good practice around their work in the 'margins' of society - those often overlooked by churches and the wider community.
The event was kindly sponsored by the Council for World Mission and the project included the production of the 'In the Thick of it' book, available online or in paper format. If you would like a paper copy, please get in touch.
