Students, staff and friends of Westminster College, Cambridge, gathered in the chapel on 13 February to rededicate the newly-restored chapel organ.

The service of rededication was led by the college Principal, the Revd Neil Thorogood, and the convenor of Westminster College Board of Governors, Revd Nigel Uden. The preacher was the Revd Ray Adamswho began by speaking of his formative years during which being an organist had been particularly influential.

The organ was played for the occasion by Mr Ian De Massini, the musical director of St Columba’s, Cambridge. The service concluded with a breath-taking performance by Cambridge Voices of David Willcocks' Sing! which was a setting for the Toccata written by Charles-Marie Widor for organ and choir.

Thanks to the generous gift of an anonymous donor, work by Stephen and Charles Hall began in August 2015 and was completed in November last year.
