What we do

The ecumenical and inter faith relations office is instrumental for the United Reformed Church in developing positive relationships with other churches in the UK and across Europe. It also assists the denomination to build understanding and engagement with inter faith partners. This work includes:

• supporting the work of synod ecumenical officers
• supporting the work of synod interfaith advocates and enthusiasts
• overseeing the denomination’s representation on ecumenical and inter faith bodies
• providing resources, guidance and advice as needed by mission committee, synods, Mission Council and General Assembly.
